A Story of Love, Commitment, and Finding the Right Fit

I always wanted him to wear his wedding ring. It’s not that I don’t trust him — not at all. It’s just that it means so much to me.
We decided to get married after many years together, and it was a decision we didn’t take lightly. For many, it seemed like a lifetime of waiting, but for us, planning and enjoying our lives before making the big commitment was important.
Call us traditionalists, but that’s just how we do things. We wanted to plan a future, not just a Wedding.
When he stopped wearing his ring, I felt a little sad. Not enough to be a problem, but just enough to feel like something was missing. I took so much pride in knowing that when he walked around with his ring, he was telling the world how important "we" are.
Between his work as a carpenter and sports injuries, his knuckles had swollen, and wearing his metal ring became uncomfortable. I hadn't even thought of a silicone ring; it didn’t fit our classic style and seemed too cheap.
